Elbtonal Percussion

Beyond repetitive afro-trance-percussion and incorporating a wide array of styles, this quartet (Jan- Frederick Behrend Wolfgang Rummel, Andrej Kauffmann, Stephan Krause) crosses through classical repertoire, new music, rock, jazz and drum’n’bass. We are very pleased to be able to official welcome Elbtonal Percussion to the Yamaha Artist family.

Simone Beneventi

Percussionist dedicated to the study and dissemination of New Music. Alongside the career of performer he combines both teaching and research, realizing edition for percussion music.

Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Percussion Section

The Orchestra plays for nearly all performances given by The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet on the main stage of the Royal Opera House, under Music Directors Antonio Pappano (The Royal Opera) and Koen Kessels (The Royal Ballet).

Franco Cardaropoli

Franco Cardaropoli, nato nel 1974 a Salerno, ha iniziato a studiare musica all’età di 7 anni. Dal 2000 ad oggi, Franco Cardaropoli fa parte dell’Orchestra del Teatro S. Carlo e suona Percussioni Yamaha.

Don Liuzzi

Don Liuzzi was born and raised in Weymouth, Massachusetts, and completed high school at the Franklin Learning Center in Philadelphia. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Michigan and his Master of Music degree from Temple University. Before joining The Philadelphia Orchestra in 1989, Mr. Liuzzi was a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony percussion section from 1982 to 1989.

Johannes Fischer

Born in Leonberg, Germany, in 1981 he had his first piano and percussion lessons at the age of 9.

Arjan Jongsma

Soloist, Colori Ensemble, Mallet Collective, Nieuwe Philharmonie Utrecht, Teacher at the Percussion Friends-Sweelinck Academy at the Conservatory of Amsterdam

Isao Nakamura

Isao Nakamura has taught at the Internationalen Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in Darmstadt (1994-2006), Akiyoshidai International Contemporary Music Seminar and Festival in Japan (1991-1998) and is Professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe since 1992.
